Finding your own personal groove

Ava doesn't like the water. Rinsing her hair in the tub continues to be a battle that I wage night after night.

The summer before last she would sit on the back porch while I would swim and just scream at me. So not only did she not want to swim I couldn't.

Last summer she would get in the water but not without being in someone's arms or her floatie. Progress...right?

A few weeks ago we took a swim lesson with Coach Phillip from Aquatots. She loved it! It has taken a long time, but she is finding her own groove in the water. Yeah Ava!
